from a guys point of view, i think that he might be falling for you. when a guy is really into a girl, he will call always just so he can hear your voice. he will do anything to see you and sex wont be the first thing on his agenda. but he will be happy to oblige. anyway if you like him, let things just go at their own pace now, it could be the start of something

night ,or may be you are very senior to him, in age or may be
you are very junior to him .
In both the cases , he found himself in aukward situation & he
is not in position or want to enter in a long term relations , so
is now want to break or want to maintain distance ,
Under these circumstances , you should also maintain dignified distance and let him realise that you also have self respect & not a cheap easily available, road side person .
