It depends on where you live. These states allow primary voting for 17 yr old that will be 18 in November - Maine, IN, VA, MD, KY,
Nebraska, Ohio, Miss., . Good luck on your 1st vote - remember do not think party , think person when you vote.

It was voted & passed in their legislatures.

In most places, no, you cannot vote. However, some states are different, and if you turn 18 within a month of the primary, you may be able to vote. You'll have to locate your local Board of Elections (probably managed by your county) and ask them to make sure.

That's great that you're voting but you should become a Republican. Democrats are a bunch of handout givers who do not want to see the United States succeed in the War on Terror and undermine President Bush and the war effort every step of the way. BTW, what state do you live in? I'm interested in what Senate race you're referring to.

no. you cannot vote on any ballots until you have reached your 18th birthday.

From the Constitution of the United States of America:
Amendment XXVI
Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age.

Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

No. But you should encourage all of your 18 year old friends to vote. And keep on voting for many years to come.

Great way to participate in the future (by voting)!!!
