are you sure this is 20 and 4. and not four and 20?
Revelation 4:1 is in reference to the Rapture. As I read Rev. 4:1 it states that the call to come up hither was to the Apostle John and not the church. How can interpretation to Rev. 4:1 be reconciled when it is obvious John and not the church is being spoken to?
In Revelation 4:1, John hears the voice saying, come up hither. But is he the only one that goes up? No. Drop down to verses 10 and 11. The four and 20 elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, worshipped him that lives forever and ever and cast their crowns before the throne saying, thou art worthy, oh, Jesus, to receive glory, honor and praise, for you have created all things.
Who are these 24? They are representatives from the Old Testament and New Testament saints, those who knew the Lord. They're laying their crowns at Jesus' feet and no one will be crowned until the resurrection of the just, Luke 14:14. So they've been crowned and how did they get there? The Rapture. It wasn't just John

In the Bible, horns represent kings/kingdoms. One thing we can be sure of, is that Revelation is primarily about events that unfolded near the end of the first century.
We can't be entirely sure what the writer was thinking, but we do know Rome plays a central role in Revelation. The horns could represent vassel kingdoms of the empire, or they could represent a succession of emperors. There had been 10 emperors of the Roman empire by the late 2nd century, so it's possible that's what the author (or redactor) were referring to.

Are you getting confused with the Bible book of Daniel?
In Daniel Chpt.7verses 19,20,24,he makes mention of the fourth beast with ten horns on its head, out of that kingdom ten kings will rise up and still another one will rise up after them.?
This beast represented Rome which became the next world power of Bible prophecy. The "ten horns" represent all the kingdoms that resulted from Rome's dissolution.
The 11th horn that rises up represents Britain, who 'humilated'Spain, the Netherlands, and France, (these ones were represented by the "three kings") by defeating those three nations and emerging as the next world power.

the ten horns are the ten nations that the anti-Christ will have control over.
and as for the 20 and 4 thing: that's just how they talked back then.

I don't believe you should try to speak for God. If the good Lord wanted someone to know something, He would tug on their hearts to show them the truth. Please go see a minister or seek out someone who can help you. There is more to the bible than the chapter of Revelations. I feel that you have a very distorted and/or false view of who God is and how He works though believers.
