western expat workers in saudi and other gulf countries are offered handsome rewards by these muslim governments to convert them to islam. (including muslim women as marraige partners)
all these westerners enjoy the benifits as long as they work there and the moment the plane takes off they are back to normal laughing.

It's no more stupid than Christian missionaries who offer food, clothing, etc. in return for conversion.

I'd be careful doing stuff like that. The penalty for leaving Islam is death. If it should come out later on that you had done this, enraged muslims might try to do you harm. If you stepped inside another muslim country, you would be arrested, formally tried and executed. This happens many times, every day, in these countries.

I don't understand the fanatical grasp of any belief system. One shouldn't believe everything they think. And Muslims really, really believe this sh*t. If we could all just believe in joy and put our smartest people to work to try to figure out how we could maximize global joy, what a wonderful world this would be.

First of all, your whole paragraph doesnt make much sense. Second of all, I doubt that Muslims would agree with you in your statement about them being stupid. There are plenty of Muslims who are highly intelligent.
