Good Lord! If you're throwing up, your body is telling you that what you're doing is not healthy. Remember, alcohol is a toxin, and your liver has to deal with it in some way. If you hit is with ten shots all of a sudden, you are going to cause this essential organ some serious problems.
If you weight 110 pounds (and you're male), 10 shots will bring your blood alcohol level to about 0.39% - 5 times the legal limit. Many people have died from less alcohol than that. If you are a female, this is taking your blood alcohol level to 0.46%, which would render many people unconscious or dead.
Fortunately, you don't sound like an alcoholic, but what you're doing is extremely stupid. You are taking yourself close to death on a regular basis, and you ARE damaging your liver (this is a certainty).
If you told your doctor you did this, he would probably have a heart attack. If that particular drinking habit continues, you WILL kill yourself eventually, or at the very least require a liver transplant before age 50 (assuming you're 20-25 now).
You're playing Russian roulette. Give it a rest. (Or at least have someone take you to the emergency room when you pass out - I'm serious, it could save your life)

This is unhealthy because you are damaging your liver every time you do this. It is also unhealthy because you seem to have a problem controlling your drinking, you are binge drinking which is a control problem. This means that you are either an alcoholic right now or on your way to being an alcoholic. And when you can't control your alcohol intake, you are at risk for severe alcohol poinsoning which can kill you. As your body becomes more resistent, it will take larger amounts of alcohol to get you to the same level of drunkeness that you are used to. That means you will consume much more alcohol in order to get drunk until one day you will consume so much that your body won't be able to process it fast enough to stop it from killing you.

I don't know if it makes it worse for your health because you don't eat before getting drunk off of your butt, but if you do eat, you'll be less likely to throw up.
Personally, I don't understand what enjoyment people get out of drinking until they puke. I enjoy drinking alcohol every so often, but I rarely overindulge because I take certain precautions such as: a) EATING b) drinking a glass of water for every alcoholic beverage I consume and c) stopping when I know I've had too much.
Part of being an adult is taking responsibility for your actions, and if you're getting trashed and passing out purposefully, you still have a lot of growing up to do.

it is unhealthy but your body will build up a tolerance why drink so much anyways? Stick with one drink and don't mix them up if your going to drink. But look at the reson why you need or want to drink so much first? Even if you binge drink its stiLL a problem. I use to drink so much it was crazy and did it cause peope kept buying me drinks but never passed out or got sick. Its what went on at my work. You can look at the long run problems with your body, or even legal ones if you are driving. bUT HOW CAN YOU HAVE FUN GETTING SO FED UP ALL THE TIME.

Eating or not, drinking enough alcohol to puke and pass out is doing some major damage, especially to your liver.
Food will only delay absorbtion of the alcohol, the end result is that you get enough alcohol in your system to basically give yourself alcohol poisoning.
