well these are observations coming from someone who spends a lot of time on the outside looking in. i see cool people every day and take in what i see them doing. not to say i am *uncool* myself, i just spend lots of time watching people who are outstanding.
-dont let yourself be stereotyped. break the mold. boring people arent well liked.
-be funny. dont try too hard though. drop sarcastic comments & if you have an interesting observation, let it be heard.
-dont be silent if you disagree.
-most of all, dont be stupid. since you are an aspiring rapper, this is gonna be an important thing for you. be quick on your feet and dont act aloof. thats about the worst thing you can do for yourself.
-keep being yourself. this is key.

You need to have an "I don't care what you think" attitude. And with that you don't put up with anyone's crap. Now, I'm not talking fighting, just not letting it piss you off. You keep your cool and not let it get to you.
