I've always thought that if a guy tells a girl he likes her it makes her scared/shocked, and she'll say "no" no matter how she feels about the guy. Is it true that if a guy told you he likes you it puts you on the spot, or have I been told wrong?
Also, if there are any girls who had a guy tell them he likes you, and you liked them back, have you made a relationship with them afterwords?
(I'm asking for personal knowledge I'm already seeing someone ;))

the answers really differ from woman to woman. but for me... YES i actually get pressured when a guy tells me that he likes me because somehow it creates a feeling of obligation to like him back. the pressure is in "how do i turn him off without hurting his feelings so much?"---thats the kind of question that really pressures me.but IF i like the guy also, then that would be great for me...and the only pressure there is "when should i officially say YES to him?"
i've been done that by alot of guys....i mean they tell me that they like me and they court me but i dont like them and it just annoys me. and our friendship ends up being broken because of that. so if i may advise the guys, id advise the guys to not tell a girl that he likes her if he's not sure yet that the girl likes him back or if the girl is ready to be in a relationship. because doing that will only ruin your friendship. you can just wait till you know that she's falling for you and then you do your move.
i loved the style my current boyfriend made when he first courted me. because i never felt any pressure with him and so it made it easy for me to make the decision to have him...but also lucky for him that i secretly liked him too. he just told me that he liked me and then he told me that he's not in a hurry for my answer. if i choose to go on a more deeper relationship with him, then ok..but if not, he's still going to respect me for that. and that made it really easy for me.

i am a girl and i actually love it when a guy tells me that they like me. It gets me looking at them and realizing if i like them or not. Sometimes it does put you on the spot and you have a shocked reaction... it does get them thinking about you though. Also, i have had this happen to me about 3 times and i have had relationships with all of them afterwards. There were also some however that i didn't it depends on the girl.

Uhm, your question is a little confusing but I'll give it my best.
I have never been scared when I guy told me he liked me. Unless it was one of the rare occasions where he said it in a stalker manner. I have been shocked before, but rarely scared.
It does put you on the spot when a guy tells you he likes you, because they're kind of expecting an answer in return right away.
Yes.. I have had someone tell me they like me and start a relationship with them not too long afterwards.
Hope I answered your question.
Best Wishes!

If a guy told me he liked me, then i wouldn't automatically reject him. If I liked the guy back, I'd let them know, and a relationship could certainly follow, in fact, it's happened many times. I'd much rather a guy be honest w/me if he liked me, than make me guess all the time. I hate playing games!

Most of the time this probably won't work. It takes away from the chase and challenge. Women want a challenge. You can't just hand yourself to them, you have to demonstrate your value and show you are an alpha male. You need to play a little hard to get and make her want you before you show any indicators of intrest.

Yeah it sort or does because i hate seeing men that i like or just friends that like me feel vulnerable because if i say no they feel bad about it. Im not going to lie i do sometimes tend to say no i really dont have a reason i just dont like it i guess it makes men different in my eyes. Im not saying its bad but i guess i feel weird when they say it

it depends on the guy... if i liked them too then i might just say that i like them too, now if i have been hurt before then i might say i dont... omg its complicated. about the second question... a guy told me he liked me and we went out for 6 months =)
