I would refer to it as Dark Ages

I'd say the same if everyone became christian, also

Thankfully there are enough freethinkers who don't get tied up with religious nonsense that will keep that from happening.

Back to the "cave men"? No, just back 800 years or so.

The bigger question is "why would everyone become muslim?" Did they invade us (again) and threaten us all with our very lives if we didn't convert?
