I have no religion I practice but I do have spirituality. I believe that there were many" sons of God" and if you truely read the different books like the Bible,Torah,Koran etc you will see many similarities about how we are to live and treat each other. For myself I follow ancient ways of native americans in my spirituality and so I believe that each day and everything you go thru in life is a "learning lesson" and that material things are not as important nor as needed as we make them out to be except for the basic things needed for survival.

It is not a religion but I follow the teachings of Jesus from a book called the course in miracles. My favorite quote is
When your mood tells you that you have chosen wrongly, and this is so any time that you are not joyous, Know that this need not be. In every case you have thought wrongly about some brother God created, and are percieving images your ego makes in a darkened glass. Think honestly what you have thought that God would not have thought, and what you have not thought that God would have you think. Search sincerly for what you have done and left undone accordingly, and then change your mind to think with Gods.
Love and blessings

I believe in christianity as it was practiced by the early christians. The best teachings to me are the ones they practiced. No man called anything his own. They had all things in common. There were miracles and the gifts of the Spirit were in operation. Christianity was born "full-grown" and has been going down hill ever since. I try to find true hearted christians and have fellowship with them. And I like to look for opportunities to show the love of Christ to those God puts in my path.

Follow the religion of love. Love for everyone is the favorite part. Divine love for each and every human being that is shared between each of us. Cast or race of humanity is also a key feature.

Zen Buddhism.
Hmm. My favorite "teaching" would be one of the things that brought me to Zen in particular. The Bodhidharma brought this with him when he first came to Japan around 520CE:
"A special transmission outside the scriptures;
no dependence upon words and letters;
direct pointing to the soul of man;
seeing into one's nature and the attainment of Buddhahood."
This is pretty much what Zen is all about. There's always more, but this is what I find so attractive about it.

Islam.
My favorite verse in the Quran is the one that commands me to answer a greeting with an even better one, but if I am not capable of that, I must answer with and equal greeting. It's something I can do every day with anyone that brings me closer to God.

I believe in God, not religion. I have faith in Jesus and feel that He is the pathway to God. I don't feel it necessary to worship in a building. I feel that since God created the earth, he is everywhere.
