When should you stop? When you feel uncomfortable doing it. Ask your mom what she thinks or prefers to be called.
No it's not wierd. Enjoy it. Be thankful you have a "Mommy".

I'm way way older than you are and I still call my mother Mommy. Why stop because of what other people think?

It depends on the closeness of your relationship. Call her mommy for as long as you both are comfortable with it.

I still call my mom "mommy" sometimes...I am 28. Usually it's just when I am just being whiny though.

Yes, it's weird. Probably because I have no mother. It's better to call her "mother" or "mom". Calling her "momy" makes you sound like a whiny five year old.
