It's a little more complicated than some of the other answers.
Alcohol leaves the body 3 ways:
- 5-10% is exhaled from the lungs
- 5-10% is excreted in urine
- 80-90% is metabolized by the liver, into acetylaldehyde (the
chemical responsible foe hangovers)
You first need to find out what the instantaneous blood alcohol level is, which is the weight of alcohol consumed (not the volume), divided by the volume of water in her body (49% of her total body weight for females). This will give you her blood alcohol level in percentage.
Then, you figure out how much has left the body. The average person removes 0.017% of their blood alcohol each hour. Heavy drinkers remove 0.020%, and some people metabolize as little as 0.012% per hour.
That said, a wine cooler contains the same amount of alcohol as a beer, and she should have had that out of her system 2 hours after she drank it, 3 at the most. After five days, there is no conceivable way that she still has alcohol in her blood, unless her liver function is severely impaired, which is unlikely.

RE:
how long does it take for alcohol to fully leave your body?
my friend's sister drank like 5 days ago, one wine cooler, and she is going for a drug test tomorrow maybe with her parents but she doesnt want her parents to find out she drinks so she was wondering if the alcohol remains would still be in her body (she's 24 btw) and if so how long would...

Your body processes 1oz of alcohol per hour on the average which is about one drink, 1 beer or 1 glass of wine. 1 wine cooler should be out of her system easily in 2hrs of consumption. Most drug tests dont test for alcohol unless it's specifically asked for.

An average person can eliminate 0.5 oz (15 ml)(about one drink) of alcohol per hour. There is no reason for your friend to worry.
