Do you trust your children's grandparents? If you can answer "Yes" with no hesitation then go ahead and let your kids go. If you have any questions about your children's safety with the grandparents then you should decline.
If you do let your kids go on this trip it could be full of benefits for you all. Your kids will get a lot out of it, their grandparents will get a lot out of it, and you and your husband will be able to enjoy some time to yourself. It could be a great opportunity, but if there are any questions in your mind about your children's safety you should say "no." (But make sure your concern is valid and not just a "protective mom" thing.)

How very lucky you are to have grandparents that want to do something like that for your kids....let them go, what a fantastic opportunity for you and your hubby to have time alone and for your kids to learn more of the world...kids need time with grandparents.....they must have done something right, they brought you or your hubby up didn't they; so I'm sure they can/will cope without you.

If there's no reason for you to believe the grandparents wouldn't take proper care of them, then let them go...it would be a great experience for them and no telling how long before they'll get another such opportunity...
They'll likely have a blast, and you and hubby will get a couple of weeks of "alone" time...
Enjoy!

How do you and your husband feel about that? They are kind of young. Will they benefit from the trip? Talk it out with hubby. Ask the kids how they feel. Would they like to go? Take into consideration the pros and cons. You might also benefit from some alone time with hubby.

why not? it will be an opportunity that might be once in a life time. Unless there is a reason you don't trust their grandparents it sounds like a good idea to let them go.

Why not? The kids will get closer to their grandparents, learn to respect them even more, get to visit a beautiful new country and you'll get a break from the kids. Everyone wins.

it is a hard decision... i have been asked the same thing i cant decide myself
i worry that my parents wont watch them like i would and really fear for their safety
i know they will be looked after well but am worried that they wont be watched every second and will see the signs of danger
i think they might be a bit too young my oldest is 8
it is hard becasue you dont want to offend your parents at the same time.... will watch out for answers on this one as it might help me make this same decision

No, let them take my kids.
That way my wife and I can spend some alone time.
My kids are available anytime. Tell her to call me and let me know when they are coming to pick them up.
OK?

when i was a kid my mom stole me and took me to oregon with her new boyfriend and stayed at his ex-wifes house and my mom's boyfriends ex-wife and her husband offered to take us to disneyland and she new she wouldn't every be able to take us there so she opted for us to go, and seeing that they wern't our parents we were very good, and i had the best time of my life, without my parents, and my mom and her bf enjoyed the time without us..(very jerry springer i know) so go ahead and let them go, they may remember it for the rest of their lives, and be better kids because of it because you let them do something with out you.
