I just start dating a guy from Kenya why did?

why did everybody look at me and him as if we were from mars or something, there were giggles and every thing i don't get it. Even though he's from Kenya we're the same race right?

Really, this is a non-issue. There's a Nigerian woman I'd date if I were single and we're not the same race. So what? She's smart, cute and nice. You think you've got the luxury of passing up a good one for something *that* trivial. You might as well reject someone because you don't like their lapel pins.
