It is imprisoned in the human body. The soul is very powerful but its power is limited by the body. It has the faculties of intellect and will. It is what makes us different fro animals because man can deide for himself. Once the body dies then the soul goes to either heaven or hell.

Someone must first adequately defined what a soul is. Is it a real thing or is it merely a wish that somehow we are allowed to exist after physical death. If there is such a thing as a soul, then we cannot yet describe it in terms of natural laws. If the soul is supernatural then we would never be able to adequately describe it or even determine its location, because it would exist outside the boundaries of our natural world.

Soul is a part of God.

God is a spirit.

A spirit is not a thing, that is it is not a physical object.

A physical object requires a place to exist at. This is what we are saying when we ask where something is.

Spirit or your soul is not a thing, therefore it does not require a particular place to exist at.

The Bible says in Genesis that God breathed the breath of life into Adam and he became a living soul. It also says that the soul dies. Therefore, when a man dies, the soul dies because man is the soul. Consequently, the soul exists wherever the man exists until the man doesn't exist and then the soul doesn't either. Is that clear??

The three aspects of life for sentient creatures are body, mind, and soul. A soul is the essence of your personality. It is the product of all your experiences and learning in life.

To have a mind, you must have a body to support it. Likewise, to have a soul, you must have a mind to develop and contain it.

The soul is not an incorporeal essence. It resides in the mind. Just like the death of the body soon kills the mind, the death of the mind soon kills the soul. After that, we only live on in the memories of others.

Imagine your body is a computer, then your soul would be the information currently being processed by the programming.

It is rather like the Force... It is all around us, within us and binds us. It is represented by the combinations and arrangements of bodily parts, chemical, electrical information, history -- and I do not necessary mean HIS STORY, culture, personal experience...etc.

To feel soul, one must believe in God. For its God, who is our inner conscience and is part of our soul. You need not find where soul exists if you can truly give yourself to God, who will then show the path to you. God supersedes everything and that includes us and the soul too.
