it was adorable when i got it cut, but now it's looking mullet-ish. i want more layers (more drastic) but i dont want to turn into a pouf ball. any helpful haircut ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It's probably just growing out! Short cuts require trims every 4 weeks, 5 is stretching it.
Tell your stylist you want more layers but don't want the poodle-do. She/he should know what to do.

How old is the cut? My guess is around 3 weeks. With curly hair, 4 weeks is about the maximum you get out of a cut. Go back and get it cut again, and life will be good.

won't be able to do it. In woman words - everlasting ability a million-3 months. won't be able to make curly hair immediately except you've a hair hollow transplant. immediately hair has round hollow, curly hair has wavy holes, wavy hair has sq. holes (or something) So yeah...

if you are a gurl you can go to da shop and get lot of cute designs layers pin ups n all dat good stuff if ur a guy shave it

since your hair is curly i would moisturize it often so that it keeps a healthy curl. i would try to style it with curly hold gel and let your hair just show its beautiful curl. try not to cut it...
