what can i add to chicken noodle soup to make it taste better?

Like mentioned above use a "bouquet garni" ( basil, burnet, celery leaves, chervil, rosemary, savory and tarragon). Sometimes, vegetables such as carrot, celery, celery root, leek, onion and parsley root, are also included in the bouquet.

My personal preference is to use the peppercorn, basil, rosemary, & tarragon. Also carrots make chicken noodle soup delicious.

Ground black pepper or fresh ginger. Actually if you take basil,peppercorns,thyme and wrap them in cheesecloth and tue it tight then add the package to the water ot will flavor the soup that way and you wont have to worry about picking leaves out of the soup.

hmmmm, its fine in itself. but perhaps u could put in strips of cooked chicken drumsticks or slices of leg shoulder ham
