Answer a question just hypothetically? any question about GOD I mean. With out being mean, nasty and just proving most Christians points when it comes to Athiest nature.
P.S.
this is the question, if all your going to say is "well whats the question?" don't bother, ( I know some of you will anyway because you don't know what it is to be decent and comment with out sarcasm.)
I am jsut wondering because all I see here is Athiest who try real hard to disprove GOD with nothing but links to websites that are completely bias to thier views and come back with down right mean comments when most Christians I see try to be loving and when provoked enough to get angry are accused of being Hypocrites.
LETS SEE IF YOU CAN ANSWER A QUESTION WITH OUT BEING NASTY?

Yeah I think I could do that. I think people's faith is really important to them and can work miracles for them. I personally don't believe that there is a God, but I know that having the belief in something greater can really improve health and well-being and people's daily attitudes. So, if believing works for you, then I say go for it, but also understand that an Atheist can be a good person without the same faith. I find strength within, whereas those who believe look to God for strength. I personally believe they are just giving themselves the strength through their faith, but if they need a God in order to do it, then that's just fine.

I think the Atheists get rude on here because there are a bunch of Christians who say things like "you're going to hell", or "you're a sinner" to them. Everyone should just live and let live, and answer the questions without attacking each others' beliefs, and that goes for both sides.

Yes, it is possible for atheists to do that. Alot of atheists I know explain things kindly when they are defending their points. Atheists, I'd say, are about as stubborn on their views as any other really religious person. Lets take your question for example.
"All I see here is Athiest who try real hard to disprove God with nothing but links to websites that are cmopletely bias to thier views and come back with down right mean comments..."
"Without being mean, nasty and just proving Christians points when it comes to Athiest nature."
"ANSWER A QUESTION WITH OUT BEIN NASTY?"
"Christians I see try to be loving..."
Well, I'm sorry ma'am, but those statements seemed a little accusing of Athiests and even "down right mean" and you were farely bias to your own views in your question. But in my answer, what have I done? I've used your own words against you in a mean way, because I was offended deep down when you criticized atheists like that. So see, both of us are attatched to our beliefs and were offended when someone else challenged them.
But I could have answered your question in a nice way, and you could have asked it in a nice way, but neither of us did.

Without being nasty, I can't see how anyone could be an Athiest. There is too much Design in creation for it to have happend coincedentally with a "Big Bang". Most people who say they are Athiests are people who are just mad at God for one reason or another.People were given free will to believe or not to believe. Even that wasn't a coincedence. Everything in life is based on condition. Meet the condition reap the result .. cause and effect. When everything is said and done ,its up to you.To believe .or Not to believe. You have the freedom.to choose, and so does everyone else. I am a christian and don't get too upset about other peoples choices.I personall believe there is more to life than 60,70,80 years and a hole in the ground.I would rather live my life like there Is a God and find out there isn't than live like there isn't and find out there is.

I don't think it's ever proper to be mean to someone over their religion. I am not a Christian but I DO HOPE to have the morals and compassion so I can do the right thing, sleep at night and look at myself in the mirror.
Most people who feel the need to be so rude and hateful are, in my opinion, not very comfortable with their own beliefs.
That's why they say things like God is a joke or the Bible is
wrong or that Christians are stupid. They are the ones with the problem.
If your beliefs give you peace, love and joy, then I think it's a good thing. No matter if I disagree or not.
Peace to you.

Sorry to offend you, but I answered one of those questions earlier and I really don't mean to offend. But if you asked me what would I think if hypothetically there was no God I will answer you" About time you wake up" I understand it is hard for you to understand our point of view, but it is the same for us "Heretics". So what would you answer me if I'd asked about you dying and finding out there is no god. Just hypothetically? Would that require you for a second not to believe? If you answer that question honestly and objectively wouldn't that mean you can consider the possibility! Didn't that mean you commit a sin by doing so? We might don't believe in a God, but we still very strongly believe in what we believe in. We're not "bad" people, just folks that think different. But you guys have this 1800 year old book that tells you different. So who really has a problem thinking hypothetically?

That's funny. The posts I see from Christians contain links to sites filled with misquotations, outright lies, and juvenile arguments based solely on following tradition and obeying authority figures.

I just have a comment. Since Athiests are spiritually "lost" they must be defensive; that's the nature of an"unsaved" person. But I'd say that there are some who could be cordial about the question. Just as Christians must be loving when we are witnessing to non- Christians. God Bless and stay STRONG IN THE LORD.

How do you "disprove" what's not there?
If you are thinking logically, the burden of proof should be on proving the existence of God. A Bible isn't really proof. It's only basis upon your belief with no third party evidence outside the bible to support the claims within it.

Religion is making the claim God is real.
It's just a simple request....please provide EVIDENCE. Is that too much to ask?

It is very tough living in a world where so many people are blinded by myth and don't have enough courage and brainpower to do some investigation and see the absolute absurdity of the Bible. Imagine being in a classroom full of mentally retarded people... for the rest of your life. Let's get over the sentimentality, emotionalism and false beliefs and use just an ounce of intellect. And I'm not being "mean," just honest.

I can see where you are coming from. It is possible, but most of the people who answer those kinds of questions are assholes. They do not reflect the majority. The same goes with the Christians when confronted with a question of god not existing. You do have to see both sides of the picture. I am not a christian, but Im also not atheist. So i guess thats all i got here.
