Hi Britney. I've been in dentistry in the US for over 25 years. This you have to discuss with the Ortho. Depending on how far you are on in treatment he will pro-rate the expense. Since he did not place the braces, he will simple follow the treatment plan, then remove the braces and make a retainer. You need to sit down with him and show him what the Ins. paid out to date and if you still have monthly payments due to the treating doctor. If that is the case he may take that. If you need additional monies for the retainer, he will work with you on a payment plan. Just be up front and discuss this heart to heart. M

well i depends where you live if it is NOT in california which is way over priced then minnimum 5000 max 11,000 but just for that 6000 -7000 No the minimum for braces is 5000 are you kidding everyone answers above mine? really they are way pricy but the orthodontists don't usually care if you just pay a payment to them as long as you give them some money they are happy doesn't matter how much of a payment.. but braces are really expensive invisiline are WAY WAY WAY overpriced adn don't work as well all the time at least normal braces you can trust for SURE my mom is in ortho and i have been to her office so i know what is going on 1500 will get you oh umm 1/4 of your mouth done lol not kidding though

My parents paid 3100 for braces with 90 dollars in payments every month. It all depends on your orthodontist.

heyy i used to have braces i got them off this summer but my parents payed $3,600 in all but its over 24 months and each month you pay like $150 but its all worth it at the end you get really nice teeth and sometimes your insurence covers the braces but mine didntt i hopee this helpedd byeee good luckkk

There are your traditional metal braces
and there are invisalign braces.

I don't think your visa really matters but my overall cost for braces is around $5000 and my parents pay $175 every month. so i think it will the depends on your orthodontist. I don't think you have to pay every time you visit, i think you get an overall price for the whole braces. when you go to your orthrodontist they will discuss a plan with you.
