Respect.
Talk about anything.
Respect buys a lot. You can find love with respect.
Why have someone around that will not talk with you?
This is a really good question. Nice.

Part 1. Love, because a) that is the greatest feeling one can have, b) one can live without respect but not without love, c) respect usually follows love but not vice versa.
Part 2. Someone you could talk to about anything. Just a personal preference, no particular reason.

Hmmm....how to put this. For those who think the "love or respect" thing is a trick question, let's just say I've known folks in my family who do that "conditional love" or "tough love" thing where there just *isn't any* respect at all there whatsoever. And it sucks....in fact it sucks so badly even some twisted individual like myself can't consider "tough love" or "conditional love" the real thing. So I am not accepting it or condoning it, ok? I am just saying love without respect *does* exist, sadly....
Having got that ugliness out of the way.
As you all might have guessed, I'd go for a talker myself, since I babble on so, and want more out of a conversation (which is what, one-third of the relationship, the things you *say* to each other?) than just "Yeah, uh-huh, that's 'nice', sure..." I hate that! If I am gonna be a talker I need to be *with one* too. ;)
And, well....I am sorry but I *refuse* to fall for the first dilemna even if it means giving sucky advice. I will *only* accept love that is Unconditional and Includes Respect, thank you. I'm going to be 40 soon and *do not* need someone *say* they love me out of one side of their face and talk at me like a damn pet to be housebroken out of the other side....had too much of that nonsense growing up, as an adult I *don't have to* tolerate that.
Sorry for the sucky answer. That's just me. :)

With love you have it all including respect and that is everlasting! Communication is essential in a relationship. You both need to grow together, share common ideas and goals. This can only be done by communicating and sharing thoughts and feelings. If you did not talk, where would you be really- would you know what your partner is planning for the both of you? Love is a two way street and both have to know which way the lanes are going!~ Communication is vital for the short, as well as, long term stability of all relationships.

1) I would prefer to be respected. Love is a personal, intimate thing. It requires that the person who loves you to know you on a rather personal level. I think that limiting. You don't have to be loved in order to be respected. That's broad and would allow me to be in favor w/ a larger number of people than if I was loved.
2) I would choose to be able to talk to someone about anything. But not just anyone. The person would have to have my complete trust that they would keep in secret all that I tell them. I have a lot of secrets and it's very stressful sometimes to have to bottle that stuff in.

I would choose respect because you can love some one without respect for them.
I would choose to talk to some about anything because your bf/gf some times list but not all the time. I would like to talk to you because you sound nice and I think you would list to me no matter what.

This is a difficult choice. I would choose love. Love makes you feel great. Respect should be obvious. If you love someone then you should know to respect them and be beside them through everything.

I would choose love and I would choose talk about anything
I choose love because I loved my ex but didn't always get respect, I didn't mind it so much because I loved her and she loved me, I'm a big boy and take some stuff from the woman I love.
I want to talk to her about anything, that's important, it helps build the love

1.Love(sex)...don't care about respect if you got love.
2.The not talking one. Guys don't talk much.
Don't care about respect from a woman, just love. I can get respect at work.
And talking is just not something to do. And you could never find a woman that could talk about anything....women are to emotional.
