God wanted to make the Earth and BANG it happened.

Some scientist call themselves 'progressive creationist' like Hugh Ross-www.reasonstobelieve.org. believe in the big bang theory and geologic time scale. But most do not. Mainly because it is not mentioned in Scripture and there is scientific evidence against big bang theory. The "law" of conservation of angular momentum would require every planet or galaxy from the big bang to spin in the same direction. There are just too many that do not. The big bang could not have produced what we observe in the universe.

Christians disagree about many things, they arent perfect ... not yet...

I rule it out
it's a leap into irrationality, like pulling a rabbit out of a hat without a rabbit without a hat and without a magician

additionally , it does not explain the data and do not be surprized is secular naturalist abandon it in the 21st century
It does not explain the horizon problem, how the background radiation is so uniform as there is not enough time to even out the temperature for example

it is inconsistent with the vastly more reliable word of God
I believe "He made the stars also" as Genesis 1 says, but the Big bang is not consistent with either the data and observations scientifically speaking or with the scriptures

I'd hope not. The thing about the Big Bang theory is that there is an inherent gap in it for the actual start of the "big bang" - what force caused this to occur? There is plenty of room for God in evolutionary science and universe creation theories. In fact, most educated scientists including Stephen Hawking will tell you that the Universe and life in general requires an architect.

Many Christians believe that God put everything in play. But that does not mean God has had an active hand in everything leading up until now, or even the creation of life itself. Having a God that merely created the conditions for life to evolve would be enough for me to attribute creation in general to God.

Most of them.

Where did all the matter, energy, and universal laws (thermodynamics) come from?

If the Bid Bang was a swirling cloud of gas and dust, the amount of dust clumped together into a period would be so pressurized that they would explode off as dust and gases.

If the Big Bang did explode, then all the planets, suns, moons, and universes should be spinning the same way as the swirling cloud of dust and gas before the Big Bang exploded. Why are there moons, planets, suns, and universes spinning backwards?

I dont believe in the big band theory but if there was a big bang then God has to be the big banger who made something out of nothing.

God said that He created the earth and the universe. He did not say how, however. How exactly He did it is not relevant or He would have said so. The only thing that matters was that HE was the One who created it.....Why does everyone have to make a big deal out of something so small? Whatever happened to "keeping it simple"......

Like the others have said so well, if there WAS a big bang when the world was created, it was God.

It is a sore spot in Christianity, but many "Christians" do believe in what the call thesistic evolution. The problem you face is that if you reject the first page of the Bible as fiction than what do you have to stand on. It creates pretty unstable christians.
