1991 - 1st Big Bertha Driver appears
1992 - Big Bertha Drivers are #1 on tour

Big Bertha 3 Wood is not mentioned although the 7 Wood is mentioned in 1993 it is reasonable to assume the 3 Wood appeared in 1991-92.

i saw the s2h2 model from calloway in pro shops in the fall of 1988. thought they looked nice. stuck with my persimmon 3 wood by powerbilt for many years after. if u hit it in the center of the club. it doesnt matter which one u use.
