I understand that I can use Nero to burn it onto a DVD, but how can I edit it. When I go to upload it into Movie Maker, it says the .VOB can't be uploaded. So I'm guessing I have to convert it into a mpg? or a wav? How do I do this? Which one is used in Movie Maker?

Thanks.

VOB is a video file on a DVD. To access it you will need a DVD ripper program that will convert the vob back to a format such as avi. Then you will be able to work with it in Movie Maker. Do a google for DVD rippers and you should be some free one. Note that they will NOT be able to rip from a commercial DVD as not only is ripping the files illegal, but even owning software capable of doing it is illegal at this time.

download a file converter, such as super fever off of download.com, convert the file to a file type that windows movie maker can use, such as .wmv
