Guys without a proper head on their shoulders would go for the drop dead girl (usually to make up for a lack of something in their life). While guys who are well informed on the dynamics of relationships would easily recognize that an amazing personality will bring much more satisfaction to a relationship in the long run. Looks fade, personalities last a lifetime.

I'd much rather an amazing personality than an ok one. I'd actually prefer an ugly girl if necessary; as long as the personality is amazing, looks are secondary.

depends on how old you are and how much money you make.
If you make lil money then you settle for the ok looking girl with the personality. If you make great money then you can have the young drop dead beautiful girl. women are like cars. We want the ones with the least amount of miles on em.

Look this question sucks because...Everyone wants a gorgeous women but have you ever heard beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Go with what ever works for you at the time..Every relationship is different!!

The problem with the latter is that it would probably encourage me to cheat, if I thought the girl I was dating was...ehh..just o.k. looking. The key is finding that girl that looks great to you, has a great personality, and you instantly like from the moment you see.
