The charts I have seen which give the amount of alcohol consumed over a specific period of time to determine blood alcohol content use weight as a determining factor. If you at 100 lbs consume the same amount of beer in the same amount of time as a 200 lb person, your B.A.C would be about twice theirs. Some other factors to include would be had you eaten first or your tolerance. Tolerance won't affect B.A.C. but would affect your ability to function when intoxicated. If you have liver illness this would also affect how your body filters the alcohol from your system.

I a guy, I weigh 210 pounds, and not a lot of fat. I can legally drink 3, maybe 4 beers in 1 1/2 hours and be legally sober. Men have an enzyme in the body that reduces alcohol to food. Men can drink probably 1 more than women who would have the same muscle mass. I would say that if you had 2 beers within an hour to look out and maybe wait a bit before you drive. Also, because of this enzyme, it takes a woman twice as long to turn alcohol into sugar...So if you have 2 beers, better either have a bunch more and get a ride, or wait another hour before u drive. It doesn't matter how much you weigh, it matters how much muscle mass you have. Muscles burn off sugars. Andre the giant could drink straight whiskey like his friends drank beer...he was the designated driver, because his friends always got s..t faced

I'm 5'1 and 107lbs my roomate is close to 5'5 at 180 lbs. We drink pretty frequently and I can honestly say that I can drink about the same amount as her and it will have the same effect on me that it has on her. the effects you feel from alcohol vary on the amount of food in your system ( food absorbs alcohol) what your doing ( dancing sweats out alcohol ) and the tolerence for alcohol ( of course the more you drink the more tolerence you build over time) The biggest difference would be your blood alcohol level ( what the cops test ) of course a smaller person will have a higher blood alcohol level then a bigger person. So make sure you've eaten ( 2 hours before ) make sure your hydrated and have fun.

It sure is true. What you are referring to is blood alcohol content (BAC). It is the concentration of alcohol in your blood. Check out this website:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_alcohol_content , it tells you more about BAC. Also, remember that alcohol is metabolized by the body more slowly by women than men. So, if you are a woman, the more drinks you have in an hour, and the smaller you are, the slower your body can metabolize alcohol and the higher the concentration of alcohol in your blood. Which means that the more alcohol the more wasted you are. Be careful.

Actually, its more tolerance than anything. I knew a guy 6'4" and 260 that would get wasted on 2 beers and a girl 5' 2" and 110 who could polish off 6 mixers.

Yes - you have less water in your body than someone larger so one drink will land you with a higher blood alcohol level. Secondly, you are female and females, by nature, have less of an enzyme that helps break down alcohol.

Yes. Your small body carries the alcohol through your blood system faster than larger people.

Yes...but that depends if your body is used to alcohol. And it if it is then it depends what type of alcohol. Like my body is used to drink 12 beers in a night and I will not get a hang over. But if i was to drink liquor then that sh.it will ***** me up hella good.

Size is indeed one of the factors in how alcohol affects a human body...but it's not the only one.
