`What is a healer?

The word Healer can take you into so many different avenues.
At one time, those that healed were thought of as witches, sages, mystics..and wise-women.. crones.
There are three parts to healing.. or rather, should be three parts.
1. you seek help, and ask for help.
2. another agrees to help, and while gathering, brewing (I brew tea), etc.. they pray/ask .. for the healing, and thank that it is already given.
3. once administered, you too need to believe, and be thankful.

A healer is someone who helps, and is sincere of heart, spirit, and intent.

There is no such thing as a "healer"

Only God can heal.

But God does impart the "gift" of healing and some people
can pray for another or lay their hands upon the head of another in prayer and God will honor that prayer because he he or she has the "gift" of healing.

But not everyone lives a sanctified life even having this "gift" because the Bible says that "gifts" can come without repentance...so don't put your eyes upon some man or woman and think they are God's representatives here on earth, regardless of the "gift" he or she may seem to have.

And then again, there are some that are genuine Christians with a genuine "gift" of healing.

And then there are regular people that pray the prayer of faith and are healed or lay hands on another and that person can be healed.

In other words, not just through a "gift" of healing can a person be healed. God heals daily from all kinds of people's request, even little children's prayers are heard by God and answered.

But some people have a very real gift and God uses them in a mighty way with tremendous miracles and healings that take place over time.

A healer according to dictionary is one that heals or attempts to heal, especially a faith healer. Many religions and cultures have faith healers. A "healer" may be a doctor, a witch, a therapist, a medicine man and etc. The issue is which ones in each genre are legitimate, even in the medical profession. Self-healing is also happening today spiritually and physically as people are taking more responsibility for their bodies,mind, and emotions. In my own life I would go to a faith healer if I believed he or she really had the gift.... I would work on my own inner healing and or work with a therapist.....I also go to doctors.

The body is a natural healer and most healing is done that way.
God allows in the Book of James for people to go to the elders of the church if they are sick and after having their sins forgiven and are restored to fellowship with God prayer could make them better.
There is really no such a thing in the Bible as a healer today. Christ was ahealer in His time on earth.

A healer is a person chosen by GOD to receive the gift of healing. What is the gift of healing? First of all, no human being can heal of their own power and that includes the greatest healer of all, Christ Jesus. ALL healers, including me have been given the gift of channeling GOD'S healing light to a person in need. This raises the question,, "Why doesn't GOD just heal everyone in one fell swoop?" Why use humans? That sounds rather inefficient. If you give a few million people free housing,, how long before they forget the gift and want more? But if it comes to them one at at time, they will remember longer. Remember what? Remember who gave it to them. This is why on each of my healings I have a short ritual I demand which reinforces the truth that it is GOD doing the healing and not me. That is my true purpose, to use the healing to teach GOD's love.

My doctor is a good Healer. The ultimate Healer is God the Creator of our Bodies.
