I'd be royally cheesed if my SO were doing that, but that's based on the boundaries in our relationship.
The bigger question is - does your boyfriend's friend's girlfriend's BOYFRIEND (does that make sense?) consider it cheating?
If he does, then that's all that really matters. If he thinks it's cheating, it is.
If she is hiding it from him because it would upset him, then yes, it's cheating.
If he knows she's doing it and he doesn't have a problem with it, then no, it wouldn't be.

Yes I consider cyber sex cheating and it has nearly ruined my marriage.
My husband likes to cyber. I found out after I hacked into his computer a year ago.
Some quick facts
He's 55, I'm 32
Been married for 13 years
I've been online for 9 years, He's been online 2 years.
To make a long story short
I was jealous, figured he wasn't interested in me, I went out had an affair. My husband found out and I confronted him with his cyber girlfriends.
As of now, I don't trust him online and he doesn't trust me when I go out.
What to do?
He's a freelance writer and needs to be online so giving up his computer is not an option.
I have my own business as a licensed massage therapist going to clients homes everyday and I'm not going to quit working!
When you cyber with someone and are in a relationship I consider it cheating. Why do it? Are you looking for something better? Not happy, unsatisfied? Why do you need that sort of attention?
I was the one who physicaly cheated on him two times, however he still cybers 2 or 3 times a week!

Yes, because sex isn't just physical. It's altogether: physical, emotional, and mental. Cyber sex is giving that "mental" part of you to another, and so on and so forth. Blah, blah, blah, to make it short: YES, it is cheating.

She is cheating. Any type of sex that does not include the boyfriend is cheating.

Yes, it also shows that the person would probably be willing to cheat in person as well.
