I know a young man in need of his GED but has no funds to enroll in any classes

They don't charge for GED classes. Doesn't he have a job to pay for the small testing fee?

Don't need funds. Most local school boards offer free GED prep classes, call them and get the info. The test itself cost $20 when I took it, but I think it's $30 now.

I don't know how it is in your state but here in Illinois, it only costs $25 to take the test. You can always take the test and if you don't pass it you can always look through the high school in your area to point you in the right direction to take some GED classes. They usually don't cost anything to take them.
