Hey! How are you doing. The first thing is the word is spelled racist. The origin of black people using the word brothers and sisters is biblical. We are all descendants from Eve. We also say my white brothers and sisters. My latino brother and sisters and so forth. I do not think what you said is stereotypical at all, it seems a little ignorant. I do not think that it is racist either, a little on the stupid and immature side maybe. I can tell you this also. If you are trying to offend, you wasted your five points. If you really want to hash this thing out, this is what you do. Go do some research with some actual statistical data. Find about two references. Then come up to some arguments pro and con. I am a black woman and honestly, I am not at all offended. I am thinking by your spelling and the way that you represented yourself that you cannot be over 13. Am I right?

We refer to each other as brothers and sisters(well a lot of us do) because the reason most of us are here in the first place is because we were stripped of our identities when we came over here from africa being sold into slavery. The only thing we have is our family ,so when we see another black person we know that ,most of the time they share our same story .There's something no other race can understand when we address each other this wa.Make assumptions as you will but I know the reason I love every black person I see is because the white man took so much from us a So today I can mend the wounds he made by letting everyone else who knows what I'M talking about feel like just because you don't know where you come from (except Africa)today doesn't mean the white man still has to bind you.So all my brothers and sisters will feel loved and know that I am their family just like they are mine.

They refer to each other as "brotha" and "sista" because they are too lazy to pronounce the enitire word.
In fact, if you look closely at how those people talk(?) you'll see many similarities. Such as "gangsta", "rappa", etc. Their lips are too large to form the small "r" sound so they say whatever is easiest for them.
As far as being related to each other, yes they are. Less than one parent removed. Most animals are incestious and the blacks are no different

Reply:whatever. First of all I really don't act black cuz I am half white and half black but I act more white. And for your info I myself a black girl a straight A student. And I have a big house and and rich black grandparents. Racist. I don't refer to black people as brothers and sisters either. EFF YOU *****. GET A LIFE.

i'm not black, but i'm going to still answer your question....

god i dont even know where to begin, but i guess this is a start...

1. you're an idiot.
2. your question doesn't even make sense, what does that have to do with stereotyping.
3. if you believe in the bible, ( which i do not) then technically we are all related.
4. Since i don't believe in the bible i'm going to tell you that most of them came from the same place, which is africa. That doesnt mean that they are all related, they just came from the same place. It's like saying all white people are related bc they're white...
5. I'm not even going to start with the "brothers" and "sisters" thing...

I think its because when they were stonlen from africa in the 17 and 18 and 19th centuries , they all got ripped away form their families. Then when they saw a person of the same race somtime later they then called them brother and sister in order to induce a fimiliarity with each other. After all they had all suffered the same injustice- being stolen from their country and then sold to white people who wanted servants etc. So they saw each other as friends because the white people at the time gave them no respect.

they refer to eachtoher as brother and sister because it creates a sense of family between a race that has, for centuries, been torn apart . this particular sense of family helps them find security in a world that has taken to being hostile to them. im not sure if i sound like some history professor right now, but i do know this: youre probably the most revolting racist i have ever had the misfortune to meet , and i hope that other ppl who read this feel the same way.

I actuality all human beings share the same mitochondria. Which is passed down from the mother. The black race is the oldest race on Earth, or so it has been scenically determined. So we are all related, brother. If your not black then you are just a sub race, a genetic mutation, sorry buddie.
