Here is a home remedy regimen for dry hair:

Use mayonnaise: Use a dollop of mayonnaise on the palm of the hand and massage it to the head and leave it on for five minutes before having the bath. The recommended time for the mayonnaise treatment is an hour.

Spray the beer: If you do not get any relief from using the mayonnaise, you can use beer as a good setting lotion that gives your hair the crisp, healthy and shiny look. You can pour some beer into an empty pump bottle and spray on the hair after shampooing and towel dry. Then you can style or blow-dry the hair.

Shampoo minimally: choose a shampoo for dry, damaged hair.

Condition your hair: Conditioner glues cuticles back to the shaft and lubricates them. It also prevents static electricity, thus preventing its frizzy appearance.

Cut off the split ends: Every six weeks or so

Toni and Guy make a really good shampoo for dry hair. It is oatmeal and honey..It's great! They also make a really good hair mask which is the best by far. They've got other good products for dry hair too.

Here is another option philosophy makes nice products but they are very pricey

I love this brand. It is from france. Ultra high end. I have never been disapointed with their products. They are luxury.

You can get these products at supercuts. They take returns with recipt in my area. You would have to ask them at your particular store.

Sephora also has a good return policy retrun with recipit and all packing. Make sure to know of all details if you think you might want to retrun anything.

And then you have the basic panteen line if you want to go cheaper. It works also. It all depends on what you want to do. You can get that at the grocery store or drugstore. Just pick the one that is the most moisturizing and use conditioner always every day if you have dry hair.

Use Dove Shampoo And Conditioner. Or.. Use Pro-V. They both work pretty well, but I prefer the Dove. When I used it the first time, my hair was really dry and just.. aweful looking and after I washed it and it dried.. it looked all shiny and pretty. :)

Hey! I've been there! You need to eat a lot of protein and biotin helps hair grow! Also it helps out your skin and nails to grow too. I buy One Source from walmart. and or you can buy multivitamins for women. Plus the most important thing, you have to drink plenty of water and eat more vegetables and fruits(healthy food.)
O also I don't wash my hair all the time I wash it every 3-4 days the max. I use Garnier Fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner. It really works. http://www.garnierfructisusa.com/

you should use oil (avocado oil or mustard oil) ( and by the way the oil will smell bad but it's worth it )leave it in your hair for a couple of hours then wash it with l'oreal vive 48 hour frizz control shampoo and conditiionner and ur hair will be smooth softer silky and shiny and u should keep on using oil once ever month atleast for best result once every week it really works and for the shampoo u can use differnet kind maybe salon products but iuse l'oreal and it work great for me good luck

Don't wash your hair everyday-that dries it out. Use a conditioner in the shower, plus put on a leave-in conditioner afterwards. I find the Garnier Fructise ones work well.
