Patience...and constant supervision are required. Praise your child consistently when they do a good job..and don't be harsh on them when they have an accident...which they will. Try to make it fun...give them a little surprise when they go...like some M&M's, or something. I gave my daughter "token", which were actually quarters..and when she collected a certain amount, she could trade them in at the store for a small surprise.
Most important, you have to make sure your child is ready...if they really fight you, or just make no progress...try again later. Good luck!

only start training when they are ready and don't rush. for example, if u see that their pampers is dry even after a nap, he/she should be ready to be potty train. my girl only manage to be potty train after she turn 2 but its not a big deal even though some may say u can train when they are 1plus. be patient and understanding.

This worked for me... when your child is ready take one week from your schedule where you go nowhere and just spend it potty training your child and do nothing else. It really worked! I did this for my son!

be patient when they are ready they will do it i also found that if you treat them for doing good it helps ex. when they use the potty give them a peice of their favorite candy and tell them its because they used the potty

Every child is different. My daughter was 100% independent of diapers on her 2nd birthday. However, my son almost made it to his 4th birthday before shedding the plastic. Girls are a little easier, because they sit down, you can give them books, toys, etc...Boys, well, I just put some Cheerios in the toilet and told him to "AIM!!"

Candy always worked for my kids...cuz they don't normally get it and it was a big deal. So if they go #1 they get 2 Hershey kisses and they go #2 they get 3 Hershy kisses.
But lots of patience on your part!
Lots of Luck to ya!!

Keep your child in underwears, and constantly ask him or her if they have to use the bathroom. I used this method with my three yr old child and it actually worked. Good luck!
