For as long as I can remember my teeth have been very crooked. I NEVER smile - which can be very depressing mentally. I stopped brushing my teeth a couple of years ago because I just got so depressed when I have to look at them. Now not only are they crooked but they are yellow and black. I have a great job in marketing but I am behind the scenes at a computer so I won't be seen by the public. In recent months I have been losing alot of weight (i now weigh 100 pds.) because It hurts to eat. I can't afford to go to the dentist - I am a single mom of 2 kids. What do I do? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

you have to see a dentist. without a professional, you can't tell what shape your teeth are in and which ones need attention and or possibly pulled. I would maybe get a part time job and save that money just for your teeth. beleive me, your confidence and self esteem will go through the roof with a beautiful smile!!! Just quit the part time job when you have the money. :)

If you are a single mom with 2 kids and you don't have dental insurance from your job, and you say you can't afford to see the dentist on your own dime, then you could possibly get covered under a welfare type program. I know from experience that bad teeth can keep you from eating but you can't let that go on too long, you will end up paying a price, namely your health. And as far as brushing them, you don't have to look at them while brushing, face down and brush. i never look in the mirror while brushing. get help if you can't afford it before its too late and you have no teeth left.

Do you have dental insurance through your work? If so, find a dentist that will work on a sliding scale or let you make payments. If you have no insurance, you may be eligible for some public assitance programs. You will have to call your local department and see if you qualify. They will put you in touch with someone who can help. If that doesn't work and you own a home, you can take out a home equity line of credit. Then you can deduct the expense on your taxes, and pay it back slowly over time.

okay well 1st off you need to start brushing your teeth but dont put too much pressure on them. then slowly your teeth will be trained again into the routine of brushing. after they are slwoly getting back in the routine you might see a little progress. you will need to try and get some whitening toothpaste. it will help it a little bit. MAKE SURE YOUR KIDS BRUSH THEIR TEETH SO THEY DONT GET STUCK IN THE SAME SITUATION. you also need to try and save up money so you can go to the dentist. also about the weight thing...blend your food up like into a smoothie. you need to make sure to stay healthy and eat. making your food into a smoothie type thing will help it not hurt as bad to eat. i hope this helps and good luck with your situation!

Get dentures, Alot of dentists will let you make payments on them, so you won't have to fork out about 2 grand for a new set of teeth.

Try going to a dental school. Try to find a dentist that will take payments. Your kids need you, Are you setting a good example by not taking care of yourself. If your mouth is that bad it may even keep you from any job promotions.

go to the dentist and get braces. only way to do it. You'll have to get a loan or something if this is something you really want to do. You can get bleach too for your teeth.

you need help baby. there really isnt anything to do but go to the dentist. try to get grants from ppl. loans maybe. or go have them pulled and get dentures. unfortunately nothing in life is free, nothing worth having anyway. if anything, start blending up veggies. you need to eat. good luck : )
