I would say that as a mother she loves her off springs more than her own life. Some people is just not as demonstative so it doesn't mean that she doesn't love. Even an animal will know how love and protect their babies so don't doubt any mother of their love. She needn't has to show or tell her child that she loves him or her. All that she provides in her children's live since they were born has proofed her love.

I'm not sure my mother loves me enough, well I know she does not.. Because, she and I have never had a good relationship, and she treats me differently than she does my brother, she didn't want to have me in the 1st place, and she has alot of money yet she refuses to help me with anything, she also is greedy, and she more or less makes me feel like everything i do and have done isn't good enough......

Sad to say, sometimes it is hard for kids to see their mother's love. And not all mothers show, through actions or words, love to their children. Here are some things that most moms do that are signs of love...hugs/kisses...providing a safe and secure home...cooking dinner...asking questions about your day and your friends...not letting you do things that put you in danger...making rules and making sure they are followed...wanting to be part of your life...those are just a few. What have you done to show your mom that you love her?

My mom wasn't very demonstrative as far as touching you or hugging you but you knew you were loved! It wasn't a verbal thing necessarily but actions spoke louder than words. My mom would give the last morsel of food away to one of us kids and go without, I know she did this even though I was next to the youngest of seven children. My mom didn't just love us but all the neighborhood children as well knew they were welcome in our home because of my moms great heart.
Sometimes the way she would look at you or her voice held such tenderness that it just made your heart swell with gladness. She just wasn't all that talkative but you didn't doubt for one minute that you were loved!

She is your mother, so she loves you, no matter what you do, or how badly you treat her, or what horrible things you say about her, or how little you respect her, or how hatefully you behave towards her. She loves you. You were the most beautiful thing she ever saw when you were born, and to her, you still are.
If you ever have a child yourself, you will understand this.

What difference does it make?
Educational institutions, employers, financial institutions and other important relationships in your life really don't care if your parents loved you.
It is irrelevant.

I didn't have a mother...can't help you on that score. I am one though...I suppose I can't imagine a mother not loving her child. Even when they drive you mad, you love them.

If she took good care of you all your life then she loves you. It will assure you even better if you tell her you love her and she tells you she loves you back.
