what I like to do when I fly into P.V. is walk across the pedestrian bridge at the airport. I stop in at the Tacon De Marlin for an incredible fish burrito. I usually get the Marlin & Camaron(Marlin & Shrimp). They serve a wonderful cucumber salad and the sauce that comes with the sandwhich is to die for.. You can watch them prepare your buritto as the grill is out in the open. Very simple, good food and cheap.

Now, for things to do I would suggest taking the water taxi to Yelapa, plan a whole day for this.
Great cuban resturant in downtown P.V. that serves good food, great music and the "mojito" La Bodeguita del medio.

Day adeventure north to the costal town of Sayulita, cab or bus. Great place to hang out on the beach and watch people, great surfing.

Great Mexican dining, not to many gringo's... Mauricio's in Las Palmas, short cab ride from downtown. The ribs are the best I've ever had.

Whatever you do, plan to walk around and explore the city, but don't waste your time with all the time share people on every block.

I highly recommend that you eat at least once at Archie's Wok.

The whole family loves taking a boat trip out to Los Arcos. The water is astoundingly clear and you can see such gorgeous fish! Our guide brought bread for us to feed to the fish, and several in our party went snorkeling.

The guided horseback ride through the jungle was soooo much fun and so beautiful!

Oh, and you should try to have dinner at Palomar de los Gonzales. Charming host, great food, good music, and the most breathtaking view, especially at sunset
