Where are the good Fishing Spots in Southern California?

I live in Victorville, Ca, where are some good fishing spots around me? The only one I know of is Big Bear Lake. Anyone know of any others?

There is a lake out there by you called Silverlake or Silverwood? My boyfriends dad lives out there and fishes there often. Catches stripper and largemouth bass.
