Why people hold so much animosity towards Christians? This one raised my blood pressure like no other on this site ever has.

This country was founded under GOD. My family came over on the May Flower. Many lives have been lost to preserve our country. If you live in our country, you live by our rules. In God We Trust. If you do not believe in God---. That is YOUR right. If you chose it ,,it's yours not ours ---as Americans. You can fight for this country, you live here. BUT you play by our rules,, or you can simply leave, sorry, that's the way we do business, it's the same for any other religion that does not believe in God. Love America or leave it,, our country our rules.

She is way too self imporant.

That blurb was written by an ignorant stuck up self important *itch, not myself. And no, I don't think it is okay to destroy Muslims, either. I think it's a terrible thing to do.

I understand not all Christians are this way, but too many are, and it makes it difficult to tolerate them because of it. I know some great Christian people, we respect our right to worship as we choose, and leave well enough alone.
BTW this is the person that spewed that filth

You have to realize that it's not ALL Christians who spout such things, just as it's not ALL Muslims who blow people up, or ALL atheists who get in the face fo anyone who says anything about religion, or ALL "whatever" of any group.

All you can do is laugh at the rampant ignorance. If some folks would simply open their eyes and their minds a little bit, they'd be surprised at what they'd see.

You can't enlighten them - only their God can do that. And I can't help but wonder what He thinks of their willful violation of His rules in His name...

Excuse me? Play by "your" rules? Sorry, this is the land of the free, honey. There are no rules. This land was founded under many gods - just ask the Native Americans. I love this country and will stand beside you to defend it - God or no God.

Believing in God does not give you the right to establish "rules". You don't see me running around telling people to live by "our rules" or leave. Is that what "God" wants? I have heard of a place like that that is finally changing - that is Iraq.

You better ask "God" for forgiveness, because any religion that believes in God does not condone your way of thinking.

Added: you posted the link after I wrote this. You have to be careful of what you repeat as it can come back to haunt you. Mis-quotes are 90% of the problems in the world today. My answer still stands.

being that your family came on the may flower then you must know how many indians they killed. why didn't the may flower people assimilate to the indian life style? the indians were here first. should they have taken that kind of attitude with the pilgrims? take some norvasc for your blood preasure. christians are the majority in the great USA. maybe thats why we have so many problems. plus what exaclty are your rules they seem to change every couple of years. the last time i looked we have a country built on the division of church and state. i know i don't want to live in a country that is ruled by religion like iran.
religion has no place in the ruling of a country.

Everybody has the right to their religious beliefs.

Should a pentacle be allowed on a headstone?
Yes, absolutely!

Should the management of a cemetary be allowed to refuse to allow someone a plot because of such a thing? Now there's a good question.
(As far as I know, cemetaries are businesses. So I wonder if they have the right to discriminate like that...)

I think a pagan should most definitely be allowed a headstone with a pentacle on it, because *it's a religious symbol*.

I think certain political symbols should maybe not be allowed, for example the Nazi Swastika or the italian Fasces [sic?].
Funny thing... I was about to include the Star Of David on that list.

a Christian? hmmmmm

I'm a Christian. I have not seen or read or had visions thereof, as The USA, being Heaven, for Christians only.

I don't know where you witnessed any names as owners on the Deed of Trust to this country as Christians. but.....

I think you goofed.

You know what? As a Christian, I have yet seen nor read, where I am to make the world righteous. Jesus Christ Himself, didn't do it. god, made Free will for everyone.

Now. This USA Heaven, I got bad news for you. God Himself is going to destroy this country. surprised?

Don't be. Bummer.

I AGREE WITH YOU. THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED UNDER GOD. OUR FOREFATHERS WERE RELIGIOUS PEOPLE. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY IS THAT THE CITIZENS OF AMERICA HAS TAKEN GOD OUT OF THIS COUNTRY. WE HAVE FREEDOM OF RELIGION BUT THE GOVERNMENT SHOULDN'T TAKE EVERYTHING GOD LIKE OUT OFF THIS COUNTRY.
