they are the guts and bone and such from turkey and chicken factories or any other meat processing place..........

here is a good story about that.........

in town here, there was this convertible next to a central bi truck. it was full of by products. well the convert able was there first in the turning lane and the by truck stopped to fast and by products went flying everywhere. so the convert able was full of bi products. the restaurant I worked at was by the stop lights. bi products hit the windows of the restaurant and the street had to be shut down for clean up.

The real true answer is beaks and wings. You want to avoid this as much as possible. Every food will have some. The first ingredient listed is what highest content of that food is. So if bi products are the 1st ingredient its mostly beaks and wings. They use that as a filler but its not very nutritious. The best is meat to be the first ingredient. They get more nutrition they eat less and go less so the higher cost of the better food is offset by the fact it lasts longer.

Byproducts are all the crap they cannot put in human food (beaks, chicken feet, ground up bones, etc). If you do a search on pet foods and what is in them it will amaze you (and horrify you!).
