when i start truck in the morning i have elevated rpm, approx 1500 to 2000 rpm. when i start to drive truck it levels out. my prob is at start up. any ideas?

While it is normal to have an elevated RPM with a cold engine 1500 to 2000 is too high I agree with you. I would suspect you have a problem with your idle speed control system either the AIS motor or a throttle body problem.

get the dealer to clean your throttle body and check the voltage on the tps

its ok man!the comp.is doing that.it work just like choke on a carb.when it warms up the comp lets it die down to idle,so it is fine,it working like it should.
