Maybe his blood sugar is low. When people's blood sugar is low they tend to have cold sweats. That's happened to me a few times. Maybe you should check with his ped. just in case.

alot of babys at that age sweat alot i have 2 and thay both sweat like crazy my oldest is now 3 and she is starting to out grow the sweats my youngest is 18 month and sweats no matter what the weather it could be the dead of winter and she could be running round the house in just her diper and she still sweats the doc told me that young children have a tendancy to be hot even if it is cold out and once thier body masters the way to stabileize temp most kids grow out of the sweats

Lots of little kids just sweat a lot.
Both of my kids (1 and 3) sweat like crazy when they're sleeping, no matter the room temperature. And they're much quicker to sweat during the day than I am.
It's no big deal. They'll outgrow it.

take his temp hes probably sick and sweating to get rid of what ever is making him sick

check his temp in case it is a fever and check in with the doctor....it could be a reaction to something....the doctor will be able to help you more
