Let's put it this way:

If it was boring it wouldn't be perfect, now would it?

The problem you have is a fairly common one. People assume that those who go to Heaven will be exactly the same as they are in this life. But that is not so; and the Bible makes that clear in a large number of passages. But start at the beginning; how does one go to heaven? First, one needs to know if they can go, and how; maybe later you can think about the "boring" question.
I would suggest that you look at I Corinthians 15:3-4. We are told that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and rose again. And, if I believe that His work paid for my sins, and that I can do nothing more than what He has done, I will be delivered. And I will know that I am going to heaven; and maybe I won't need to wonder if it will be boring after all. Look at the passage, and consider what it says. It is true.

Good Question.

Scripture gives us a peek at what Heaven will be like.

First of all, its beauty will be a wonder of amazement (but I think everyone knows that). The City is described as having jewels for a foundation, and it will have no night--God's own radiance lights the place perpetually. Jesus' form of being is described in the first verses of Revelations, and that's interesting....

...but, if I may speculate *a little*....

Won't it be an entire community of the saved? So, what does a community do? Hang out, go places, do things together....skip gold rocks on the crystal sea? Scripture identifies some of the emotions of God, so we'll still have emotions; all without the nagging temptations and impact of injustice and evil in this life.

As long as there are people, we can certainly play games together, I mean, we'll only have all of eternity to do it. Plus, if there are materials to make things with, materials like gold and who knows what else, we can certainly make things--even tools. Then from there, what can't we do that we can do now?

Why be limited to playing games? Let's have stores to buy and sell fairly, and create an entire multi-faceted society. I mean, the Bible describes the Feast of the Lamb, so we can be sure that we can eat, and we have to get food somewhere or gather it ourselves......

I really think that the potential to do anything good in Heaven is almost unlimited. And I believe that the most beautiful things we see here in this life are a dim foreshadowing of we will someday see.

I am glad that my faith is substantial, and that is not meant as a crack at anyone else's beliefs, but I have seen enough evidence (without knowing about Heaven) to be convinced that it is a real place.

I can't wait. Really.

If you like boring.

I come from a protestant/unitarian/atheist background and don't really believe in heaven. On the other hand I also feel that belief isn't necessary if it really exists. (Makes sense right--if its material you don't need to be God for it to be real to you. And various energies can be real just like matter, because for one thing, matter is energy).

It seems to me that if you try your best it is very likely you will find something that seems like heaven to you now. But there's no keeping you from thinking when that time comes that there might be an even better place.

Not to be confusing, but this could be solved like a math problem. What is that place in which you can no longer conceive of something that you need, where you are not plagued by pain or worry? What many people find is that it really involves finding some very simple things, but at the same time adopting a radically more refined approach to situations.

You need to learn to value what you have. Without that can you expect to enjoy any wonderful new situations? Sometimes you even have to get angry that you aren't getting what you want. Just so long as you don't make a habit out of it. You have to know what you want, and how much of it you have now. You also have to know it, if you ever find something special that you didn't expect, and its worth as much as what you were originally looking for.

Christian friends are good to have ;)
If you want to know about Heaven, take a look at Revelation, for it talks about His saints worshipping and praising Him on a regular basis. And if you're a Christian, then you already know about this part. Also, it talks about no sin, evil, disease, hatred...
But don't let Heaven be your goal or reason to accept Jesus...there's so much more to it than that.
As for your question in bold...heaven can't be boring if it's perfect :)

I can't be cause I'll be there to spice it up. No actually, I've never found being a Christian is boring in 30 years of walking with the Lord. So I would expect heaven to be twice as fun!

As I understand it, heaven will be anything but boring. We will have jobs that we love, responsibilities that are challenging, friends and family and new people to talk to, and bursting with so much love as we have never experienced before. By the way, heaven is described in the bible. Check it out.

The streets of gold are just icing on the cake

Heaven will be the great adventure of knowing God more and more it will be new and inexhaustible, it will be like trying climb a mountain where you get to new gorgeous sites as you go higher and higher where the things you discover are endless just as teh universe God made is wonderfullly large and complex

the relationship between God and the redeemed, Christ and the church we see a little glipse today in human relationships like sex, but today for us it's like a 3rd grader trying to understand married sex, it's beyond them and the wonderul relationship of God and the redeemed in heaven is beyond us now except that it will be wonderful

you will hear the stories of the ages from the people in heaven and the angels, about wonders of them being redeemed and being changed from unloving to loving and how the angels watched as God made a name for himself in history and creation
The greatest stories of the ages will come out and there will be many

My idea of heaven will be so perfect that I can't imagine it to be boring. How boring can heaven get when we're in the house of the Lord?

Only 144,000 will go to heaven and they will have a definite purpose there. Rev. 20:4-6 and Rev 5:8-10 tell us those chosen to go to heaven “…will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” (Also Daniel 7:27) 1 Cor. 6:2: “Do you not know that the holy ones will judge the world?” Rev. 5:10: “You made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over [“on,” RS, KJ, Dy; “over,” AT, Da, Kx, CC] the earth.” (The same Greek word and grammatical structure is found at Revelation 11:6. There RS, KJ, Dy, etc., all render it “over.”)

The divine purpose is not to have Jesus Christ rule as king alone for the thousand years. But, as the apostle John tells us: “I saw, and, look! The Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. . . .”—Revelation 14:1-5. The number of such “holy ones” chosen to rule with the Lamb Jesus Christ on the heavenly Mount Zion is revealed as being 144,000, “bought from among mankind.” (Revelation 14:1-5) These, together with Christ, make up the righteous “new heavens” of Jehovah’s new system of things.
Christ and the 144,000 will rule over the earth to the benefit of all here on the earth.

Most of us, though, have an earthly hope. Jehovah created this earth so that humans could enjoy living on it forever. He wanted the earth always to be inhabited by righteous, happy people. (Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18) The earth will never be destroyed; it will last forever.—Psalm 104:5; Ecclesiastes 1:4. In The Lord’s Prayer, we are taught to pray for God’s kingdom. A kingdom is a government, and God’s kingdom will rule over the earth. “... Let your kingdom come. Let your will come to pass, as in heaven, also upon earth.”—Matt. 6:10.

Even though we all grow old and die because of the rebellion of Adam and Eve, God’s original purpose for the earth will still be fulfilled. In the beginning it was God’s purpose for obedient humans to live forever in an earthly Paradise. And God never fails to accomplish what he purposes! His Word plainly promises: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 37:29.

There is also the very real hope of the resurrection and the opportunity to live forever in paradise right here on the earth. The Bible tells how Jehovah will bring this about.
