How are we supposed to follow God if He doesn't tell us what to do? For instance, the Bible says "Thou Shalt Not Kill" or does it really say "Thou Shalt Not Murderer" or does it really say "Okay, you can kill, but don't brag about it" when it really says "Pookh lod wih le koo. Hach jahj cho-koov-moakh leng-lidge loo-Teb-jahj leng widge-vahd bel rahp shoave dah-nobe-poo- boagh. Shabbat shalom."

Baptism, according to the Protestant religion, is the acceptance of the holy spirit into your life.

As such, God doesn't embue you with any knowledge that you didn't already have.

If God were to, then why wouldn't he make so that everybody could understand Aramaic, which was the language spoken in the time of Jesus Christ.

But about all the good that would do, would be to allow people to watch the movie, The Passion Of The Christ, without subtitles.

God gave you a mind and a free will to use it or not..You either believe the bible or not.I do not need Hebrew or Greek to read it.I either believe the first word to the last or none of it. God lets me make the chose.Thats why we have freewill or we would be like robots do only what God told us to.If I fail God picks me up and I go on to make mistakes and be human,Remember there was only one perfect person and that is not us.

God always work on the physical creation, that means that our corporal limitations does not completely permit us to achieve knowledge in the way that God has achieved knowledge. The difference between God and us is that we are full of potentialities, skills and talents that need practice in order for us to achieve it. While God has no single potentiality, He is all actuality. His thought and action goes simultaneously. Unlike us who need to think fist before doing things, God can do anything while he is thinking. Therefore, for us to learn Hebrew or Greek, we first need to study them and in due time we will be able to master that skill. There's no end to the potentialities.

am I detecting sarcasm in your voice?

I like the ESV and essentially literal transaltion, NKJV is also essentially literal both are good in my view and not necessary to speak Hebrew and Greek

you can lean on God in faith and He will help you understand his word, posisbly sending someone gifted in teaching or encouragement to you, probably through sermons and posisbly books and other materials by gifted teachers

"if any man lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives to all men generously but let him ask in fiath" James 1

frankly its not the way your baptized, and I dont care if a person is baptized as an infant dedicated to God or babptized as a believer (like a confirmation of sorts) it's the saving faith that makes a person a Christian, not the way they are baptized

Because things like that don't come automatically.(I like your new word, automagically). If you wanted to learn those languages, you'd still have to study and work at it. God doesn't just snap His fingers and "boom" it's accomplished. Being baptized isn't something magical, and it doesn't mean you can act like an a$$ and still get into heaven. You still have to put in some effort.
Sheesh!!

Why would God do something like that? And I'd like some proof about that "Satan's translations" thing... As far as I can tell, you are just pulling nonsense out of your rear end.
