wow this one hit a nerve. I asked a question the other day why illegals come here... the answer I got was because they wanted the opportunity and that they do the jobs Americans do not want to do. I don't really have a job to offer I just wanted to see the reaction to this question. Funny how the answer seems to work for people who support illegals but not when you shove it back in their face.

I don't know why everyone is getting all huffed up about the guy being an illegal. No matter who he would have hired, something about it would have been illegal. If it was a teen, it would've slightly violated some minor working law. He probalby wouldn't pay tax on the service he bought. Also the person doing the work probably wouldn't report that income to the IRS. Don't blow your lid off cause he was trying to get some simple task done quickly and cheaply. The government is set up so you have to bend over backwards to do something in a completely legal way. It is just not worth it for these small single tasks.
Advice to this guy....there are many more than one illegal in this country. Try someone else, put signs up on telephone poles or something. If you are too lazy to do the job yourself, don't complain on here if you are also too lazy to look for someone hire.

The illegal issue is a serious matter for it involves lives-not to be exploited for a cheap joke. No 1-had you really attempted to hire a illegal you should have been arrested and 2. They aren't slaves or any ones property but people,human beings with same rights that one gives any and every human being-respect,dignity and value.Then too ALL human beings have freedom of choice given to them by their creator,God so if a illegal chooses not to do what you asked(hypothetically) then so be it. Then you have the choice of doing it yourself or hiring a legal individual-either has work permit for this country or a citizen. Now that wasn't that hard to figure out.

well fire him obviously... next try to hire someone legal. If you insist on goign the cheap route, you can try to offer him a case or carona or some other illegal substance since you obviously arent very concerned about the law. Next time , offer to pay their rent.... if they dont work you kick them out on the street... that usually motivates someone to do just about anything.

Do it yourself or go back to where the day laborers hang out and see if someone else will do it. Tell him you'll give him a few extra bucks and give him lunch and a lot good drinks during the day.
