The hysterectomy removed the womb and ovaries. They were infected in some way so they were removed . It may have been yeast but there is lots of tissue to get any infection remaining. Yeast infection is easily transmitted in summer time from hot tubs.

Certainly. A hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus, a complete hyetrectomy involves removal of ovaries and tubes also. Usually a yeast is in/on the vagina and vaginal walls.

I do all the time and have had a hysterectomy. I get them worse now then I did before the surgery

Absolutely. Yeast infections occur in areas that are warm and most because it is basically a fungal infection. Even men get them.
