One, you are more than likely not anorexic.
and TWO there is no reason for anyone to say anything bad about those of us who are anorexic because we did not do anything to them and just because they do not understand how we think or feel doesnt' make us weird or freaky. If you are concerned about being anorexic than go look in the mirror and ask yourself this questoin:
1. Am i fat? (if you say that you are just chubby then you don't need to worry)
Most anorexics would answer the previous question with either, absolutley horrifically fat.
OR why am i asking myself this, if i can't see my bones then i am FAT as a flippin' WHALE!! Another thing i am afraid to; weigh myself or look in the mirror but i can't help but step on that scale look at those condeming numbers.
Go to myfragiledream@xanga.com's site and look at those pictures on her sight if those images completely gross you out and what she talks about makes you uncomfortable in amyway then you are probably not but if these images are beautiful and inspiringg to you then don't hesitait to email me. I will help you run away from anorexia as fast as you can!!!!

Nemra is wrong!!!
Food tastes good because you are meant to enjoy it. Although the BMI is a good rule of thumb it is wrong. I am a bodybuilder who is 5"11" and 201lbs. The BMI considers me overweight, but I have a very low bodyfat %. If you are training at a gym ask the trainers. If you are training in a competitive sport ask your coach, but take his advice with a grain of salt. Some coaches are responsible for FAT Female Athlete Triad. A destructive situation where the female athlete, overtrains, undereats and stops menstrating. This unneccessary scenario causes many health problems for these girls.
Seek a professional opinion. Don't listen to an anorexic girl! Misery loves company.

You're not anorexic, by any means. You have a very healthy weight... and it sounds like a very healthy lifestyle.
The new World Health Organisation criteria for underweight is BMI < 18.5.
People in the US often have a distorted view of what is too thin because of the massive epidemic of obesity there. Ignore them, and keep doing what you're doing.
Keep doing what you're doing - as long as you don't start pushing yourself very low (<18.5) you're fine... the exercise is great for your cardiovascular health, and you're avoiding all the health risks of carrying excess fat (diabetes, increased risk of various cancers, etc etc etc).
Oh, and body weight <85% of minimal normal is central to the diagnosis of anorexia nervosa (it's part of the diagnostic criteria).

i think even though you arent technically underweight by your bmi, it's still not safe to not eat. i'm about the same as you (weight and height) and i dont get the chance to eat 3 meals a day. sometimes only one and a half. but i'm damaging the inside of my body and this is almost as harmful to our bodies as being obese. although, eatting healthy and excercise is the way to go,you have to have a 1,500/2,000 calorie diet daily so your body can function properly.

I'm a guy, 6'3" 188 lbs., very athletic and look it. I eat mostly just to fuel up my body but I LOVE going out with women who are in shape as well but love to eat. I'm not sure what type of man you're looking for but men like myself like women who are: in shape, or try to stay in shape; are curious about life and who love to eat. That's what makes working out so much fun, so you can EAT!
I hope you do not get too obsessed about this . . . get obsessed about the best way to make your boyfriend feel great or get obsessed about our political system, ANYthing but your beautiful body.

You may want to seek counseling. Make sure you eat a good diet, whether you hate to eat or not, at least make yourself maintain your health. Pick the most tempting food you can and make it fun by trying new recipes or eating breakfast for supper. Your body and brain need the energy that food gives you. Please take care of yourself.

Yes they are right, you are at a good weight. You need to eat to keep your metabolisim up. If you don't eat that will make it go down. Anyway i think skinney people look horrible. My BMI is 22 and my Dr. told me that was good.

You don't have to be underweight to be anorexic. It sounds like you already are. You should see someone about this as soon as possible before it spirals out of control.

I'm no doctor, but in my opinion, according to what you are saying and what I have studied, the fact that you think you are chubby and you obviously are not is a sign of aneroxia. Its my impression that aneroxia has to do with distorted body image, not weight per se.

That is correct. You have a serious obsession with losing weight. You think that you are fat. I would suggest seeking counseling . You are not eating enough and you are excercising too much. You are going to end up making yourself extremely sick.
