I would love to have had eight to ten. My Husband's Mom had ten brothers and sisters, and His Dad had nine. They have such a large loving Family. That way they could always take up for each other, and have someone to play with. And the bonding would be amazing. It would be wonderful.

Three, at most four. It's really not just about money. Kids require attention, astute and hard work, parental involvement. I would not hire someone to take care of my kids. If you had one who was autistic, had severe ADHD, or a mood disorder, or any severe physiological condition such as diabetes, you'd realize soon that money can't help much, and that to be a good parent to each and every one of your kids, you can only have so many.

If my husband was in good health, I would probably have at least one. At the most two. However, my husband is very ill and we found out if we have children there is a 50% chance the kids would inherit the disease he has. For that reason, no matter how much money I had I still would not have any children "with him".

If I didn't have to worry about money, I would have ZERO kids and spend my days surfing, skiing and bike riding in the most exotic places in the world.
Time is more than money.
