My bf and I love each other very much, we really care about each other, and we've been together for over a year. You may doubt that after you read this, but trust me, I know how we feel about each other. We are apart for the summer, and we both have had a hard time being faithful...I mean we are young, horny, and gay, despite how much we love each other. We started having troubles with trust, and we were both paranoid about the other cheating, so eventually we decided to just be honest and open, and if we felt like we wanted to do something with another boy, we should tell each other and talk about it. Now my bf is interested in someone, and I can't help but feel a bit of jealousy. I'm fine with him getting a little action if he really needs it, I can deal with that, but emotional attachment with this other boy scares me. I'm looking for any tips or advice on how to go about this and make it a good thing. We will be back together and faithful after the summer.

Tell him exactly what you told us, that you want him to have fun and that you are also afraid he will fall in love with someone else and that he won't love you as much anymore. Honesty is always the best policy. Tell him if he has to do it, then just don't get attached to the other person.
