I really like California Poppies. They aren't native here in Washington, They were probably part of some drought hardy wildfower seed mix. All summer long when the sun is out in Seattle, and our thirsty native landscape starts to brown, these bright, little orange flowers always seem to make me smile. they are delicate though. you can't pick them except at night if you don't want the petals to all fall off

I think that my favorite is the Goldenrod . After all of summer's blooms are about finished , it starts to put on its golden show ...
they fill the fields here, in Massachusetts , and with the glow of a setting sun across them , they really are quite amazing ....

The Blue Bonnet...it is an awesome looking flower with a with a peticular blue that makes the hillsides look like wave at the beach...it is also the Texas State flower....I like it because it gives me the beach sensation which is very theraputicle...the website

not necessarily wild flowers but when i lived in the country we had fields of wild strawberries. They smelled soooo good and tasted good too :)
