I want to take a vocation before i start school , I have a lot of friends in the US who I would love to see and make me enjoy it.But I am afraid of getting turned down for a visa .This would be my second time travelling I've only been to a caribbean Island can someone tell me what you think?

I think you should apply for a visa and take your chances. Take with you proof of your school enrollment, a specific date and clear plans to return to Jamaica and continue your life there, and a cheerful, positive attitude.

Look, the worst that can happen is that somebody will tell you No, and surely you've heard No in your life before, and survived. Being refused a US visa is not the end of the world.

ask your friends to send an invitation, this will help a lot.
