Founded? Did you ever see the history of that part of the world? Where did Moses go? Was that after WWII? I don't think so.

It was given by the British to the Jews as a land of their own because many Jews, as you can imagine, did not want to stay in Europe after the Holocaust. The land that is now Israel was lived on by Muslims. Hence the beginning of the issues with Muslims and the Jews.

It was established by UN resolution in 1948. Many refugees from Nazi tyrrany were heading there and there was also rebellion against British occupation.
