Because even when a guy has a gf or a girl has a bf, it is ok to have friends of the opposite sex. It doesn't mean that they like you any less or looking for a new mate.

because we like talking to the girl but we also spend alot of time with them most of the time and we barely get to see the otherppl we talk to
