Whenever me and my boyfriend go out we also get stares and discrimative remarks. And a guy friend of mine has been dating a white woman and he gets hell from the whole neighborhood. It seems like no one wants two races to mix.Even in Hollywood.Heidi and Seal recieved hate mail, and I also heard Taye Diggs and his wife recived hate.

I know that it is difficult to be involved with someone of another race. But sweetie, interracial relationships have existed since the beginning of time. It is up to you and your partner to make an interracial relationship work. People may not ever accept it, but you have to be strong enough not to allow their discrimination interfere with your happiness. You will always get stares and rude remarks, but don't allow the hate to contaminate you or your partner. Good Luck!

People are small midned and conservative, my dad is asian and mum is white - depending on where you live it will be frowned upon and levels of acceptance vary - i lived in pakistan my whole life with my parents - and god were people intolerant - i had so many hate attacks during my school years i ended up hating people, the entire family nearly disowned my parents and funilly enough. Also some people feel that interacial marriages are wrong because then the children are 'half-castes' and can never seem to 'find themsleves' - they are neither one nor the other - atleast this is how i was always made to feel about myself - but on a personal level people will always be people and i beleive we are no different because we are all human and should do whatever makes us happy instead of what helps us fit into society - move to a place that is more accepting - interacial relationships in this area of london where i live seem to be much more tolerated especially since my school is supposedly renowned for its multi-ethnic and cultural diversity - most couples are not of the same race - Love is blind and knows no race or gender and - so i wish you the best of luck in your relationship.

You know I do believe there is a place where discrimination will never exist, and to get there one must die and go to the other side called heaven. This will be the only time we will have a world where people have love and full acceptance of Gods various creations. Until that time love each other and forget the ignorant few in society who were born with a tremendously small brain and no cells. You see when they were born satan inpregnated their mother and caused the evil hate within them, so they're all jacked up anyway. I encourage you both to find a group of friends who celebrate in your love and will encourage interracial dating. I am so down for it. I have dated outside my race from day one and will continue to do so, so kkk here I come and back the h up! We are the majority , now what??????????? All of America is mixed and not just one race, unless you are of the animal race. Prejudice people must be from there.

I'm afraid not...I live in Ontario and I've been dating white men for the last couple of years. The looks are always there, you just have to ignore them and realize that people will never change. I look at this way; if you two are happy then that's all that matters. People are afraid of what they don't understand, or choose NOT to understand. Sometimes a lot of times those same people are probably wishing they could exchange places with one of you but just have never had the guts to step outside the box...live your life and don't let anyone make you feel uncomfortable.

I do believe that interracial relationships are coming to a end. It was bad in the 50s 60`s to 70`s and up...I think if you are strong enough and want this relationship you should just ignore the slurs and remarks. I LIKE THE SAYING 'YOU HAVE COME A LOMNG WAY BABY! but it`s not just the white people that don`t like it! its the other races that are against it too.

This is quite a hot topic in today's diverse world.
Racism is a bad thing as it portrays humans in a very animal like position. But, heres something to think about....

At the very minimum there are over 150 distinct cultures and races in the world. That is given that they are pure, meaning that Japanese are pure Japanese, Italian pure Italian, Irish pure Irish. As a person of say, Irish decent, you would be very proud of your culture, your heritage and your race and rightfully so. This applies to any and all ethnicities.
Now, take an Irish woman and a Japanese man who have a child. The child is an Irish/Japanese boy.
The son grows up, meets an Italian woman, they have a child, another son, and he meets a black woman and they have a child.

Can you tell me what the cultural diversity is of the last child? Can anyone tell me where the childs heritage comes from? Sure, Japanese, Irish, Italian and Black, but where are the childs roots? Black, Irish, Italian, Japanese??

Interracial relationships, as human beings, are as previously said in another post, "you love the person not the race" is true. However, when the gene pool of ethnictiy becomes so blended then where do we as Irish, Italian, Japanese and Black people culturally identify with?
True Story...
Young man and woman fall in love and get married. She comes home early to find her husband and his friends watching a game on TV. They do not know she has come in and she hears her husband talking. He is telling his friends that he can't wait to get her pregnant so that the white race becomes a little more polluted down. She stops, dead in her tracks, waiting to see what the response is. She hears one of the other men telling of the several bi-racial children he has and how he is conning yet another bi-racial woman to convince her to have his child.
If the 6 of them can father enough children with women of other races then those children breed with other races, then eventually there would be only one race. Theirs
The reason she came home early.... Was to let him know he was going to be a dad....

Shortly afterward, he left her before the baby was born. He told her attorney at the divorce... " I have more seed to spread to the races, and I don't have time to waste" "Our race is going to be supreme"

Can anyone tell me what race that would be?

As you consider an interracial relationship, think not just of yourself, but those who may be born of that relationship and the potientially devastating effects it could have on the wonderful world of cultural diversity that humans have. I am sure someone will make the arguement of racism and that all of us are human... Don't bother, I agree, and I also agree that equality amoung men is paramount, but that is not at all the point, those things are a given in a civilized society.
This is about racial purity, nothing more.... And to those out there that will read into this post a racist bia's, grow up. Every Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese,Indian, Haitian, and every other race in the world has a profound right to be proud of their race. Does that make them a racist?

human beings often do compared to at least some thing unusual or different. prepare your self for a lengthy street. it truly is in no way a completely American difficulty. I even imagine that right here it truly is particularly alleviated by using lengthy adventure of co-life. the better coaching element, the better tolerance (I wager you would have a lot less difficulty in some college community). i imagine the reply on your question is convinced. some human beings are already have no any problems with this, some will keep on lack of understanding and intolerance, and it's going to take some generations to regulate that.

Hopefully!!!Now the gay society is gradually and very slowly being accepted and I hope it will be the same for interracial relationships! And let's not forget it's both sides, for example if a girl\guy raised and lives in a black neighborhood and dates a white guy\girl other black people would stare at you and judge you!!!

I think a lot of people in the usa have changed the way they think abot interracial relationships. I guess it all depends on what part you stay in . In the south the older people still belive that races should not mix. But I myself belive if you fall in love it does not matter what the race is. Love is blind.

I myself have dated black women and I'm white. I believe older society isn't as accepting of this and young society is. Part of the reason as to why people don't like it is simply, hate. Unfortunately racism is still taught and passed down to younger generations even this day. Personally, I feel love should be color blind, but not everyone is accepting of that.
